Hurricanes New Swimmer Information

 Do you like to swim? Consider joining the Hurricanes!

 

The Hickam Hurricanes swim team is dedicated to providing an all-around competitive program for youths ages 5 to 18 who wish to be an integral part of a swim team. Every new swimmer receives a two-week free trial period before joining the team!

 

New Swimmer Information

 New swimmer tryouts are held at Pool #1 at 5:30pm, the Dive Shop Pool. Swimmers must be able to swim one length of the 25-meter pool without stopping. Tryouts will include freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breast stroke. A coach will determine if the swimmer is eligible and into which group to place the swimmer. Eligibility requirements may change based on current dynamics of the team.

Membership Agreement

Medical Information Form

Medical Power of Attorney

Permission to Film on Deck

Insurance Information Form - Only applies if your child isn't covered under TRICARE

Transferring from another on island team? Transfer paperwork will need to be filled out by both teams.
USA Swim 120 day rule applies to all transferring swimmers
