Coach Liz began her swimming career at the age of 7- mostly because her old brother was swimming. She quickly fell in love withthe sport and racing. She has competed at the highest levels of Canadian swimming for over 14 years, traveling all over Canada to complete. She earned a full athletic scholarship to both Indian River State College and Clemson University. She has swam with Olympians for all over the world. In 2004 she completed in 7 events at Canadian Olympic trials and finialed in the 100-meter Butterfly.

She began coaching at the age of 15 with hometown clubs and has continued to coach part-time for many clubs.

She took time away to raise her children and experience other sports but the love for swim brought her back.

"I have loved stepping back into the role of a swim coach because it has ignited my passion for the sport again. I believe swimming can teach so many value life skills to young people and I'm glad to be a part of the process".
