Coach Elena brings a wealth of international coaching experience to the Hurricanes. A former Head Coach for Canada's National 13–15 Artistic Swimming Team, she led her athletes to the inaugural World Championships in Samorin. Over a career spanning decades, she has coached swimmers to national titles, earned the Susan Eon Trophy as Canada's most promising new coach, and developed training programs shared with athletes and coaches across eight countries. Her deep technical knowledge and passion for athlete development make her a tremendous asset on our pool deck.

Coach Liz began her swimming career at the age of 7 — mostly because her older brother was swimming. She quickly fell in love with the sport and racing. She competed at the highest levels of Canadian swimming for over 14 years, earning full athletic scholarships to both Indian River State College and Clemson University. In 2004 she competed in 7 events at the Canadian Olympic Trials and finaled in the 100-meter Butterfly. She began coaching at age 15 and has continued coaching part-time for many clubs. After stepping away to raise her children, the love for swimming brought her back.

Coach Davin brings energy and heart to every session on deck. She coaches our competitive groups and also leads the team's introductory and advanced swim lessons, helping swimmers of all levels build confidence and skills in the water. Her ability to connect with kids and make practice both challenging and fun makes her a valued part of the Hurricanes coaching staff.
